Can a battery be charging and connected to an inverter at the same time?
Hi, id just like to know can a battery be charging via an alternator for example ( not connected to a car) and be connected to an inverter at the same time with a load drawing power from the battery?
Sorry i meant with a load connected, drawing power throught the inverter.
Yes it can. If the charger cannot supply enough current to run the inverter and charge the battery, the battery will discharge when the inverter load is present.
